Hello, I'd like to welcome you to the promotional site for my new book Wake Up and Smell the Glory. I've used this website to give you a preview of each chapter and allow for constructive comments, testimonials and recommendations from regular people who have read Wake Up and Smell the Glory. I wrote this book, I believe, to help people understand that ANYONE can draw near to God, hear His voice and build a relationship with Jesus that does not require continual access to our spiritual mentors and ministers. Not so that we may 'forsake the gathering of the bretheren', but more to ease the pressure we often place on pastors and ministers. Many times we like to blame those who hold the office of pastors and teachers for our lack of spiritual health, and many times we are controlled or taken advantage of, by our reliance on people other than Jesus and His Holy Spirit. Both situations are no good and both situations can easily be avoided by allowing Jesus to be the Lord, Saviour and friend He came here to be. Join me on a journey of discovery from salvation through to relative spiritual maturity, finding revelation after revelation about Who God really is and how I found that He was always so very much closer than I ever realised He was.
