Hello,

I'd like to welcome you to the promotional site for my new Christian book Wake Up and Smell the Glory.

I've used this website to give you a preview of each chapter and allow for constructive comments, testimonials and recommendations from regular people who have read Wake Up and Smell the Glory.

I wrote this book, I believe, to help people understand that ANYONE can draw near to God, hear His voice and build a relationship with Jesus that does not require continual access to our spiritual mentors and ministers. Not so that we may 'forsake the gathering of the bretheren', but more to ease the pressure we often place on pastors and ministers.

Many times we like to blame those who hold the office of pastors and teachers for our lack of spiritual health, and many times we are controlled or taken advantage of, by our reliance on people other than Jesus and His Holy Spirit. Both situations are no good and both situations can easily be avoided by allowing Jesus to be the Lord, Saviour and friend He came here to be.

Join me on a journey of discovery from salvation through to relative spiritual maturity, finding revelation after revelation about Who God really is and how I found that He was always so very much closer than I ever realised He was. You can have conversations with the Holy Spirit yourself, right here and now. All you must do is recognize His voice.

I'm just like you, no more, no less. I believe God is raising up His people. Any of His people, to finish the work He started and left us with, two thousand years ago. I've written this book to show you that God can and will use anyone who is ready and everyone who is willing.

Don't read this book because you know who I am (Very few people know who I am). Read this book because you want to know what God has to say, directly to you!

Unlike many messengers, I don't want to tell you what God is saying, unless He specifically gives me a mandate to do so (And occassionally He does), but I want to help you hear, understand and discern for yourself, so you can trust Him, not me!

While most people will spend time justifying why you should trust them, I would like to prompt you NOT to trust me. I am just as human as you are.

But you really do need to trust Jesus, His promises and His Spirit. That's what this book is really about; Not telling you how or what I want you to believe, but it's about introducing you to God in a very personal way.

It's also about warning you of the spiritual trappings and pitfalls that await you along the way of getting to know God personally. God wants you to know Him personally and intimately, but there are many who will gladly step into the way and we must know how to recognise these people and spirits for who they are.

Ever heard the voice of God? Is it real? Can I talk with God?
